個人的にものすごく楽しみにしていた”Red Hare”のデビューアルバム「Nites of Midnite」が、5月にDischordよりリリース！！

We now have an official release date for Red Hare’s debut LP, Nites of Midnite. The record – which includes eight songs mixed by J. Robbins (Jawbox, Office of Future Plans) – will be out May 21st as a split between Dischord and the band’s own recently resurrected imprint, Hellfire Records.Red Hare is a new group featuring Shawn Brown, Jason Farrell, and Dave Eight — all formerly of Swiz and Sweetbelly Freakdown — and drummer Joe Gorelick (Garden Variety, Bluetip, Retisonic).

本作のmixはもう皆さんお馴染みのJ. Robbins。一足先に「horace」という曲が試聴できます。
一聴する限りsweetbelly freakdownに近いですが、bluetipやretisonicのポップ感も伺えますね。
ジャケットのデザインはおそらくJasonだと思いますが、バンドロゴの文字が流れる感じ、swizのデザインと似てるような気さえします。
本当に楽しみな一枚です！！
